About the Jammer Foundation
MISSION STATEMENT
The
Jammer Family Foundation is focused on empowering disadvantaged youth
of San Diego and providing them with the support they need to flourish
and reach their highest potential.
VISION
Quentin
and Alicia Jammer formed the Jammer Family Foundation in June 2007 to
provide encouragement and support for disadvantaged youth who have
limited resources to develop their educational and professional goals.
Growing up in Angleton, Texas, The Jammer’s saw firsthand the impact
violence and neglect have on youth. When the Jammer’s moved to San
Diego, they vowed to make a positive impact on the community and aid
programs that taught kids the importance of education and perseverance.
Quentin and Alicia
strongly believe that each child should be given the same opportunity
for education and athletics. They know that getting off track is easy,
so a solid support system must be established to show them our care and
concern. The Jammer’s feel that creating and supporting young leaders
will help us maintain a positive and prosperous community.
