San Diego Charger, Quentin Jammer, invites students of San Pasqual Academy through the Jammer Family Foundation to attend the NFL Playoff game on Sunday January 17, 2010.  The AFC West Champion San Diego Chargers will take on the NFL Wildcard  New York Jets.

The San Pasqual Academy is a four-year residential high school for foster teens and it is the first of its kind in the nation.  Students will be treated to the NFL Divisional Playoff action in San Diego, California, where they will be able to cheer on Quentin Jammer in person. This event is sponsored by The Jammer Family Foundation, which was formed in 2007 by Quentin and Alicia Jammer to empower disadvantaged youth in San Diego.

The Jammer’s mission is to be a positive influence in the community in San Diego and help develop programs by teaching students the importance of education and leading by example. The Jammer’s also understand how negative influences can severely impact kids. They believe that a positive support system will open the doors to success.

What better way to reward the students for their efforts and outstanding achievement at San Pasqual Academy than with a NFL Playoff game. Jammer said, “the students have been in attendance during all our regular season home games, Alicia and I believe that it's just natural for them to be there during the playoffs”. San Diego has won 11 consecutive games, which is the longest current streak in the NFL. The Chargers are trying to advance to the AFC Championship Game for the second time in three years.
